PEERS® is a 14-week evidence-based social skills training program for ASD adults who are interested in learning skills to make and keep friends and develop romantic relationships. During each group session, ASD adults are taught important social skills and are given the opportunity to practice these skills in session. They are then given weekly socialization homework assignments to practice skills in real life situations.
Young adults will learn:
• Use appropriate conversational skills
• Be a good host during get-togethers
• Find common interests by trading information
• Make phone calls and texts to friends
• Let someone know you are interested in dating
• Use humor appropriately
• Choose good friends
• Ask someone on a date and have successful dates
• Exit and enter conversations appropriately
• Handle arguments and disagreements

Program participants must be 18 or over, graduated from high school and motivated to participate. Scroll down to complete registration form.
