Self Advocacy Training
Self Advocacy Training is designed for adults with ASD to develop the skills needed to better communicate their strengths, abilities, interest, and needs when interviewing with potential employers or applying to trade schools, colleges, or universities. This program empowers adults with ASD to make decisions about their own lives and become more independent. Participants will gain knowledge in: Developing Self Awareness, Understanding Personal Rights, Setting Goals, Requesting Appropriate Accommodations, Developing an Action Plan, Learning to Advocate for Personal Needs.

Participants will learn:

Participants must be 18 or older, graduated from high school and motivated to participate.
