Task Masters is a step-by-step group coaching program designed to help ASD adults develop the necessary executive function skills needed to meet daily responsibilities. Executive functions connect our present choices to future outcomes. They help us manage our time, be productive, plan, organize, and reach goals. Task Masters incorporates a 3 step process to focus on a different executive function skill each week, each skill building on the next to improve self awareness and daily functioning.

Young adults will develop these skills:

Organization –The ability to create and maintain systems to keep track of information/materials.
Time Management –The capacity to estimate how much time one has and how to stay within time limits and deadlines.
Goal-Directed Persistence –The capacity to have a goal and follow it through to completion.
Stress Tolerance –The capacity to perform tasks even under stressful conditions.
Response Inhibition –The capacity to think before acting.

Emotional Control -The ability to manage emotions and control/redirect behavior.
Task Initiation –The ability to begin projects in an efficient or timely fashion. Sustained Attention -The capacity to pay attention to a situation or task. Planning/Prioritization -The ability to create a roadmap to reach a goal or to complete a task.

Participants must be 18 or older, graduated from high school and motivated to participate.  Scroll down to complete registration form.
