Once we learn the techniques of sustained attention, we become more efficient at prioritizing our time and distinguishing between our “wants” and “needs.”
This coaching tool kit employs a 3-step process to help individuals with ASD improve sustained attention. You will start by exploring the ways that sustained attention weakness affects your daily life. Next, you will choose from a list of strategies that tend to be helpful for improving sustained attention. Lastly, you will set up a strategic plan to make improvements in specific areas of your life. After you have worked on these improvements, you will reflect back on your progress to improve self awareness.
